Why join?
Come join us for an online self-care session to come home to our senses, balance our energy and embody a grounded presence, as we hold space for ourselves and others.
This session is part of the inspiring Biodanza Skill share initiative created by Biodanza facilitator and didactic, Paula Jardim, who has generously invited me to offer an introduction to the Art of Jin Shin.
This introduction is intended for facilitators and anyone feeling drawn to come - whether you hold space for groups, children, elderly parents or communities - we all hold space for each other in one way or another at different times.
Whilst this can be a joy, the risk of depletion and burnout can quickly increase as soon as the balance between giving and receiving is lost. Therefore, making time for self-care is so key to a sustainable practice and healthy living, which is why we warmly welcome you to join us.

What is the Art of Jin Shin?
This gentle form of Acupressure, also known as Jin Shin Jyutsu, derives from Japan and offers valuable tools for both self care and treatments.
Similar to Acupuncture, Jin Shin uses finger pressure in place of needles to harmonize our life force energy by releasing tensions, promoting circulation and balancing the energetic pathways of our body.
It strengthens our innate resources to address overwhelm and day to day ailments or more chronic conditions, as it down-regulates our nervous system, regenerates our adrenals and boosts our immune system.
Whenever we feel out of kilter - and especially when we have committed to holding space for others - Jin Shin can empower us to hold space for ourselves with simple, self care options at our fingertips.
This will be a hands-on session offering:
