Do not focus your attention on the problems or symptoms that you have, nor on getting rid of them. Instead notice the inner harmony, the life energy, the pulse of life, that is ALWAYS there, however great the imbalance may be - we would not be alive, if this pulse did not exist. Through holding points you strengthen this pulse. And what we pay attention to, we also strengthen. That is why, when holding points, we actually do not talk about problems, but rather about projects. You can do something with a project, something can come of it, change is possible - with problems we often get stuck and see only the problem. If, while holding points, you find yourself thinking – having no thoughts would of course be brilliant, but let's face it: Who can do that for a longer time?! – then do not think in problems, but in possibilities and solutions. And stay with the inner question: How can it get even better? You can not go wrong! Let your intuition guide you and find your own personal path. Just lay your hands on the energy locks you have selected and simply let things happen. Life energy finds its way, trust it. Once again, because it is so important: you can not go wrong. There are no wrong points or holds. Holding points is always linked to the intelligence of the body, and even if you apply a "wrong" hold, nothing bad happens. The body turns things around the way it needs them to be, and then it merely takes a little longer for the desired effect to kick in. Keep Going! Photo by ddzphoto from Pixabay Especially in the case of severe imbalances, with serious or chronic illnesses, it is particularly important to hold points regularly. This is because blockages or unhealthy patterns will have developed already over years or even decades. Regular treatment can strengthen the once healthy pathways again to such an extent, that all blockages can be released and harmonious patterns can reassert themselves - permanently. Jin Shin Jyutsu is not about "removing" symptoms - even though certain holds are assigned to certain symptoms - but rather about restoring perfect balance. Troublesome complaints are not simply fought against, but the entire body system is gradually harmonized again. We do not repair the body, but we bring it back into alignment. Regular treatment allows you to drop into a deep state of physical, mental and spiritual relaxation, thanks to which comprehensive regeneration and healing can take place. Be Patient! Do not let yourself be unsettled if at first you notice no change in a particular situation that you are treating. Holding points always works - but sometimes not initially in a way that you would expect or wish for. Our body system always regulates first whatever is most urgently needed, whatever is most indispensable in a given moment. This does not however mean that holding points can replace a doctor. Go for a check up, if you feel bad. You can always hold points in addition to any medical treatment. Holding points strengthens the immune system, supports the healing of wounds and regeneration, e.g. after surgery, and also harmonizes any side effects, if you need to take medication.
